  • New custom building

Start by opening CampusBulider Load the digital twin visualization scene , Click New , Select... In the label on the right side of the model library indoor , Click on Custom Architecture , Drag and drop it into the main window .


Double click Custom building , You can enter the interior of the main building .


Custom building appearance has only one model block , It's very ugly , You can add a facade model to the building . Click to enter the edit page of the building , Click on Architecture — Select facade model , You can add facade models to custom buildings for digital twin visualization scenes .



You can also not select the facade model in the official library , You can import , The supported file formats for importing model files include .fbx, .obj, .3ds, .stl, .dae, .3d, .3mf etc. . The following is the facade model I chose .


The texture style of architecture can also be changed , Select the building model , Click on the map , Select the right style and left click the building facade to apply it to the building . You can apply the map to this custom building , As shown in the figure below .


  • Add floors

Digital twin visualization scene: the interior of customized building is single story building by default , Click new floor to create a multi-storey building . Double click to enter the custom building interior , Select the draw rectangular wall tool , You can draw the floor and the walls of the rooms in the floor .


In the indoor editing window , Click the settings button in the custom toolbar , You can set the floor name 、 The height , You can also choose whether to ( Check to set the floor height ) It works on all walls 、 Display the model of this floor outdoors 、 Move the outdoor scene to this floor .


  • Add a map

After the walls and floors are finished, you can add maps to the walls and floors , In the model library on the right , Click on the map , Apply maps to walls or floors , You can also change the map attributes as needed .


The system's default mapping, such as tile style density, can be adjusted according to needs , Click on the ground — Setting allows you to set map properties ( Map length and map width ) You can adjust the size of the map , Change the density of the texture on the wall or floor . The density of the black floor in my picture below is too small , After resetting the length and width, it became what I wanted to be .


  • Multiple floors spread out

When building multiple floors , Can choose New floor , You can also choose Copy the current floor , Select the current floor, click quick copy and add floor . Click on Architecture , Back to the building editor interface , You can see all the floors , Click on the toolbar on the right side of the main window Floor deployment , You can view the situation of each floor after expansion .


Create digital twin visual custom building complete ~ But now there are only floors and walls inside the building , There's no interior construction yet , Next time I will continue to complete the indoor construction .
