One 、 Establish slice data source
1.1 Set up a workspace

1.2 Add data

Here is the high-definition satellite map data given by the teacher , The format is tif

Workspace select the workspace you created before , Browse there and select the corresponding file

1.3 Create the slice source layer

In the layer created here, we don't need to worry about the coordinate system of previous slices , But remember the coordinates of your picture (geoserver It will automatically identify the corresponding coordinate system of the picture ) In order to use when slicing later

You can publish layers first

Two 、 Add slice coordinate system and slice
2.1 Add slice coordinate system

Add the coordinate system you need to slice here

I'm going to cut the pyramid into nine levels , Keep ordering that add zoom You can add levels

After saving, you can see the coordinate system you added

Find the newly published slice source in the layer , Modify his slice coordinate system

I choose the scale level and slice level here 0-8 level , Click save

2.2 Slice
After slicing, I'll talk about some problems I've encountered :
1. Where are the local slices
2. How to speed up the slicing

Solve the first problem first : Where are the local slices
When I first sliced , I cut for nearly an hour, but I couldn't find the path to the local slice , But it's time to go back to bed , I didn't sleep well that night
I am using tomcat Starting up geoserver, It can also display the log of slice completion , But we found that there was no locally cached slice data at all , It turned out that it was me geoserver The path of the slice cache is not set in the configuration file of

This is the configuration file for the slice cache directory , You need to add the following code to it :
<context-param> <param-name>GEOWEBCACHE_CACHE_DIR</param-name> <param-value>E:\Geoserver\apache-tomcat-8.5.56\webapps\geoserver\data\data_dir</param-value> </context-param>
that data_dir The folder was created by myself , Thought I didn't find this file before , Now it's time to slice

The solution to the second problem is in it , The more processes you choose to slice , The faster you cut , Click submit to start slicing

You can see that the slice is successful , What's the problem? Welcome everyone to pay attention to my WeChat official account !

Life is long , Come on together !!!
